Description

  • Lead approximately 20 engineers, including performance management, career development, promotions, and issue escalation.
  • Develop staffing strategies with Resource Management and practice leadership to match talent to client engagements.
  • Mentor and coach team leads through career, performance, and staffing decisions.
  • Oversee contractor onboarding, extensions, and engagement delivery.
  • Lead practice-wide hiring, interviewer calibration, onboarding, enablement, and career progression programs.
  • Drive the internal accelerator program and establish production-ready client standards and reusable assets.
  • Maintain an approximately 50% billable client portfolio across advisory and platform consulting engagements.
  • Provide technical leadership for AI SDLC, AI governance, agentic deployments, and cloud platform and pipeline architecture.
  • Advise client engineering executives and establish evaluation, observability, audit, and production safety practices.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive engineering experience, including leadership of full engineering organizations.
  • Experience managing engineering leaders and managers and scaling teams and organizational structures.
  • Track record of building recruiting, onboarding, engineering standards, and career development infrastructure with measurable results.
  • Strong platform, pipeline, and infrastructure architecture expertise.
  • Hands-on experience deploying production AI/ML systems, particularly MLOps/LLMOps, governance, and operational resilience.
  • Deep Google Cloud Platform experience or the ability to quickly learn a GCP-centric delivery stack.
  • Consulting experience managing ambiguity, concurrent engagements, client relationships, and business priorities.
  • Professional services experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence with internal and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach to partnering with practice leadership during organizational transition.
