Description

  • Lead the building, testing, publishing, and release of Courses & Career products.
  • Translate roadmap priorities into production plans and release milestones.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Production and Release Management team.
  • Partner with Product Management, Program Management, and content teams to align scope, sequencing, capacity, and delivery dates.
  • Own catalog integrity, including product release, retirement, and decommissioning.
  • Implement AI and automation in production and release workflows.
  • Manage vendors and contractors supporting scaled production.
  • Report status, risks, and constraints to leadership and respond to external changes such as state standard revisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in education, curriculum development, or content production.
  • 5+ years of operational leadership experience, including direct people management.
  • Experience leading teams, setting expectations, providing feedback, and developing employees.
  • Knowledge of content production workflows, including multimedia and LMS platforms.
  • Understanding of quality gates, versioning, publishing, and release management.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with vendors and contractors; willingness to adopt new tools, AI, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.
