Description

  • Lead Billing and Payments implementations end to end, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, and go-live support.
  • Serve as the financial operations subject matter expert for journal entries, reporting requirements, reconciliation, and related workflows.
  • Lead end-to-end accounting integrations by defining data flows, configuration needs, and downstream reporting impacts.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve billing issues that could affect revenue accuracy, financial reporting, or customer trust.
  • Escalate high-risk issues with clear context, business impact, and a recommended path forward.
  • Partner with customer finance, accounting, and operations stakeholders as a trusted advisor across Zoom, email, phone, and occasional on-site visits.
  • Support sales demos and customer discovery before and after close to validate fit and implementation readiness.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to surface gaps, edge cases, and scalability needs from live implementations.
  • Improve repeatability by analyzing implementation patterns, refining best practices, and documenting processes and customer records in CRM and project tools.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of combined experience across accounting, finance, billing, accounts receivable, financial operations, software implementation, customer success, or related functions.
  • Experience working directly with customers on complex billing, payments, ERP, or financial operations software implementations or support.
  • Ability to analyze accounting and billing data, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot issues across workflows, configurations, and financial reports.
  • Demonstrated understanding of debits, credits, journal entries, and financial reconciliation.
  • Strong project management skills, including scope, timelines, risk, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of billing and accounting concepts, including invoicing, credits, payments, AR aging, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments where processes and requirements are not fully defined.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Operations.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% based on customer and business needs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar (preferred).
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, fintech, ERP, or revenue cycle management (preferred).
