Description

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for the kiosk hardware platform.
  • Define product requirements and specifications for the next-generation kiosk based on customer, operational, and business needs.
  • Translate business needs into requirements for third-party design and manufacturing partners and manage the gated development process from concept through mass production.
  • Own the reliability loop by analyzing field-failure data, identifying root causes, and driving design fixes with hardware engineering.
  • Set firmware requirements, including diagnostics, telemetry, and over-the-air updateability.
  • Define and monitor quality metrics and make build-vs-modify and make-vs-buy decisions using data.
  • Partner with software teams to articulate issues with data and justify requested experience changes to the existing fleet.
  • Travel to the field, design firms, and manufacturing sites as needed for the program.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including ownership of physical or hardware products.
  • Experience taking a hardware product from concept through mass production, including EVT, DVT, and PVT validation gates.
  • Experience working client-side with external industrial design firms and/or contract manufacturers.
  • Comfort across mechanical, electrical, and embedded/firmware domains.
  • Experience owning firmware requirements and a hardware/software interface.
  • Strong commercial and analytical judgment with the ability to build cost/reliability business cases and defend tradeoffs with data.
  • Experience with connected or field-deployed hardware such as IoT, kiosks, vending, robotics, EV charging, or ATMs is a plus.
  • Remote role; must reside in the United States.
  • Ability to travel 20%.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $176,700 to $227,600 per year.
