Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy efficient code for SDTM, custom reports, and visualizations using MS SQL, elluminate Mapper, and Qlik.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to validate reports and visualizations meet required functionality.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members and users on processes, technology, and product usage.
  • Manage multiple timelines and deliverables across single or multiple client engagements and handle client communications as assigned.
  • Configure, migrate, and support the elluminate platform.
  • Create and maintain required specifications and quality control documents in accordance with SOPs and internal processes.
  • Provide high-level technical consulting services for client projects, including platform configuration, ETL, custom analytics, software implementations, and integrations.
  • Offer direction to other data engineers on technical development and implementation activities.
  • Assess new technologies and support process improvements, system validation, and SOP development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in a services or consulting role preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science, technical, or business discipline, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of database design and development experience preferred.
  • Understanding of cloud and hybrid data architecture concepts is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles is a plus.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial data standards such as CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADaM is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data platforms including SQL Server, DB2, and Teradata.
  • Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Project and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as QlikSense, QlikView, Spotfire, Tableau, JReview, Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy, IBM DataStage, Informatica, or Spark.
  • Familiarity with technologies and concepts such as .NET, C#, Python, R, Java, HTML, SSRS, AWS, Azure, Spark, REST APIs, Big Data, ETL, data pipelines, data modeling, data analytics, BI, data warehouse, or data lake.
