Description

  • Design, code, test, and debug software applications according to coding standards and best practices.
  • Develop APIs with strong attention to performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot software defects and issues and deliver efficient, effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and user guides.
  • Work with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration and successful releases.
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance tests and implement automated testing frameworks.
  • Guide the team on AI tooling best practices and collaborate with other technical leaders.
  • Use version control systems such as Git to manage source code in a distributed environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience building, operating, and evolving production-scale applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • 4+ years of hands-on software development experience with Golang.
  • 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes-based environments.
  • 4+ years of experience designing and building scalable, high-performing APIs.
  • Proven technical leadership experience, including driving design reviews, influencing engineering standards, and making architecture decisions for teams of 5+ engineers.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and developer workflows.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience influencing technical strategy, aligning across teams, and unblocking execution through strong communication, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira.
  • Python development experience is preferred.
  • Must be authorized and based in the United States.
