Description

  • Drive development across Dutchie’s web platform and mobile applications to deliver shopping experiences on iOS, Android, and browser.
  • Partner with Product and Design to define, develop, ship, and iterate on customer-facing features.
  • Work through the full development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
  • Optimize application performance, accessibility, and cross-platform consistency.
  • Improve code quality, developer experience, and customer outcomes through ongoing technology and process improvements.
  • Mentor engineers and help shape how the team builds across web and mobile.
  • Contribute to or supervise AI-assisted code generation and development workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience across web and mobile frameworks.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Production experience with Flutter, including shipping and maintaining a live app.
  • Familiarity with backend development using Node.js or C#/.NET.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Comfort working across the stack, including UI, state management, and API integration.
  • Proven ability to own features independently and deliver high-quality work.
  • Preferred experience with native mobile development such as Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Preferred familiarity with app store submission, release management, and CI/CD.
  • Preferred experience or interest in hardware/peripheral integration such as printers, scanners, or scales via WebUSB or native iOS/Android layers.
  • Preferred experience working in a distributed team or remote environment.

  • Starting salary of $149,000 to $201,000.
