Description

  • Own Duolingo’s voice in social comments and manage community engagement across global channels.
  • Collaborate with the social team to create viral community management moments on posts and in comment sections.
  • Inspire user-generated content through community-first content on Duolingo’s channels.
  • Build relationships with highly engaged community members and help cultivate them into brand ambassadors.
  • Partner with the merch team to surprise and delight top fans.
  • Develop and iterate on short-form video community strategy through experimentation.
  • Track community engagement, sentiment, and growth metrics with the Analytics team.
  • Prepare regular reports and insights to inform content strategy and vision.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of social media experience at a major brand or organization.
  • Strong wit and the ability to craft clever, timely responses.
  • A creator mindset with a passion for fan and community engagement.
  • Strong awareness of social trends and the ability to respond quickly to memes and emerging moments.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Based on the East Coast.
  • Portfolio link showcasing relevant work samples is mandatory for consideration.
  • Experience collaborating across social, analytics, and merch teams is preferred.
