Description

  • Own communication of product progress and company performance, connecting launches to growth metrics such as DAUs, engagement, and revenue.
  • Lead communications for earnings and major company moments, partnering with Investor Relations and Finance on narrative, messaging, and consistency.
  • Drive product communications end to end, from story development through launch execution and post-launch momentum.
  • Translate complex areas such as AI, efficacy, and monetization into clear and credible narratives with strong proof points.
  • Partner closely with Product and Data to identify the most meaningful and differentiated stories to tell.
  • Build repeatable messaging systems and story frameworks for launches, earnings, and executive communications.
  • Prepare executives to communicate clearly and consistently in high-stakes settings such as earnings calls, launches, and major interviews.
  • Anticipate and manage communications issues related to product changes, AI, efficacy, and monetization.
  • Define success metrics for communications work and measure narrative clarity, message pull-through, trust, and growth impact.
  • Manage agencies and external partners to deliver high-quality communications execution.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in communications, with strong product communications and/or corporate or financial communications experience at a high-growth tech company.
  • Track record of turning product work into clear, differentiated stories that are understood and picked up externally.
  • Experience supporting earnings communications or working closely with Finance and Investor Relations.
  • Ability to quickly identify the key signal in a roadmap, dataset, or result and build a compelling narrative around it.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas without losing credibility.
  • Experience preparing executives for high-stakes moments such as earnings, launches, and major interviews.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Data, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment and create structure where none exists.
  • Experience managing agencies and maintaining a high-quality bar.
  • Preferred: experience in a product-led, experimentation-heavy company.
  • Preferred: strong intuition for product storytelling, especially around AI or technical systems.
  • Preferred: direct ownership of earnings communications.
  • Preferred: experience connecting product metrics to credible business narratives.
  • Preferred: background in education, edtech, or consumer subscription products.
  • Preferred: established relationships with business, tech, and financial media.
