Description

  • Identify and refine mission requirements and coordinate buy-in with key stakeholders.
  • Generate feasibility and technical analysis reports to support Government decision-making.
  • Plan projects and, after Government approval, execute them using project management best practices.
  • Identify hardware, software, and operational changes that improve efficiency and usability of the Organizational Messaging Service system.
  • Prepare feasibility studies that include requirements, objectives, trade-offs, constraints, risk analysis, and cost and effort estimates for multiple approaches.
  • Support hands-on systems and network engineering and architectural development for OMS backbone and support systems.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and TTPs.
  • Evaluate operational incidents, administrative priorities, and technology lifecycle issues to inform recommended changes.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Current Security+ certification or another IAT II-qualified certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot and/or an approved equivalent AI solution.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency using AI to support research and improve workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 3 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 8 years of experience designing and implementing system architectures on major NSS in the DoD.
  • Strong engineering background supporting high-visibility systems that transmit worldwide, including ships at sea.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of C2 messaging in the DoD is preferred.
