Description

  • Define high-level opportunities that can transform user experience and business outcomes.
  • Own strategic, design-led projects from concept through delivery.
  • Advocate for and guide the team toward customer-centered, innovative outcomes.
  • Work with the broader design organization to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and usability.
  • Simplify complex workflows for multiple customer experiences.
  • Help shape and execute the broader design strategy.
  • Influence product strategy across the team and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product, and Engineering leadership on strategic design initiatives.
  • Role model excellence across strategy, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and storytelling.

Requirements

  • 10-15+ years in a senior individual contributor role.
  • Proven track record of leading complex design initiatives with simple and elegant solutions.
  • A portfolio showing significant contributions to shipped customer experiences with measurable business and customer impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong storytelling skills to present and advocate for design decisions.
  • Familiarity leveraging generative AI for exploration and prototyping.
  • Experience leading design efforts in remote or distributed team environments (preferred).
  • Experience driving company-wide initiatives to improve design quality, such as teaching prototyping classes or mentoring designers (preferred).

Benefits

  • $200,400-$271,200 USD annual salary for US Zone 2.
  • $178,200-$241,000 USD annual salary for US Zone 3.
  • Role is not available in US Zone 1.
