Description

  • Design conversational, agent-driven experiences that guide users from questions to decisions.
  • Build interfaces using Virtualitics’ design system and component library, identifying gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers to translate product problems into clear flows, states, and polished interfaces.
  • Create prototypes in Figma and AI tools to test design rationale, screens, states, and complex components.
  • Participate in UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts before release.
  • Present design work and rationale to designers, product managers, and engineers, incorporating feedback quickly.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of product design experience.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including well-documented designs and prototypes.
  • Viewable portfolio with 1–3 case studies or completed projects demonstrating individual contributions.
  • Strong visual design, interaction design, hierarchy, spacing, state, and user experience skills.
  • Solid UX, UI, and accessibility fundamentals, including WCAG knowledge.
  • Experience working within design standards and design systems.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, explain, and defend design decisions.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to assess and improve past work.
  • Preferred: Experience designing data-dense, analytical, or enterprise software interfaces.
  • Preferred: Exposure to AI or LLM products, conversational UI, agentic workflows, Claude, or Figma Make.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of front-end concepts such as components, tokens, states, and responsive behavior.
  • Preferred: Interest in defense and government projects and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
