Description

  • Own ambiguous design problems end to end across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Serve as the primary design contact during engagements and transition design ownership to project teams as work matures.
  • Define interaction patterns for agent-driven experiences, including responses, chained actions, and error states.
  • Extend and strengthen the design system and component library.
  • Create prototypes with Product Managers using Figma, Claude, or code.
  • Lead UX reviews of features, agent responses, generated UI, and layouts before release.
  • Use workflows, journey maps, and service mapping to support design rationale and cross-functional alignment.
  • Shape scope, timelines, and alignment with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Mentor less experienced designers and raise the quality of design critique.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of product design experience with a record of shipping well-designed products.
  • Portfolio containing at least three case studies demonstrating complex problem-solving, iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Figma, including component-driven architecture, variables, and interactive prototypes.
  • Experience independently owning ambiguous problems without a detailed specification.
  • Strong UX, UI, visual, interaction, and accessibility fundamentals, including practical WCAG application.
  • Experience extending, governing, and documenting design systems.
  • Ability to use workflows, journey maps, and relevant design practices to support design decisions.
  • Experience leading design independently with minimal oversight and articulating lessons from past projects.
  • Experience designing AI-native, agentic, conversational, data-dense enterprise, or analytics products preferred.
  • Working knowledge of front-end concepts such as components, tokens, states, and responsive behavior; AI tooling fluency and U.S. security-clearance eligibility are preferred.
