Description

  • Collaborate with regional Account Executives and Inside Sales to meet or exceed territory revenue goals.
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert for DFR programs and BVLOS regulatory considerations within the territory.
  • Deliver clear, customized product demonstrations of the DroneSense platform tailored to agency mission needs and DFR use cases.
  • Guide agencies through technical trials to ensure measurable success and demonstrate platform value while addressing real-world BVLOS, airspace, and risk constraints.
  • Create and deliver sales enablement materials and sales collateral in partnership with Marketing and share best practices to improve win rates.
  • Represent DroneSense at public safety conferences, regional “fly days,” agency workshops, and on-site demos to support field engagement and adoption.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to refine go-to-market strategy, drive adoption in priority markets, and elevate customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and stay current on FAA regulations (Part 107 waivers, tactical BVLOS, COAs) and support agencies pursuing advanced drone programs aligned with evolving policy.
  • Provide operational awareness and guidance on airspace integration and risk mitigation for DFR deployments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in UAS technical sales, support engineering, or drone operations (examples: DJI, Parrot, Autel, docked systems, MavLink).
  • Working knowledge of Drone as a First Responder (DFR) program design and FAA regulatory pathways for BVLOS operations.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical and regulatory concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter able to execute independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Experience with public safety, emergency response, or defense environments (strongly preferred).
  • Direct experience supporting DFR programs or obtaining FAA waivers/COAs (strongly preferred).
  • FAA Part 107 certification and operational flying experience (strongly preferred).
  • Prior work with drone-related SaaS platforms (strongly preferred).
  • Must be a full-time U.S. citizen or naturalized citizen from a NATO country and a current resident in one of the 50 contiguous United States; valid LinkedIn profile with photo required to be considered.
