Description

  • Work on backend application development, algorithms, system design, and production services.
  • Design abstractions that reduce the need for custom code across varied business use cases.
  • Handle data spread across multiple systems and make sense of complex moving parts.
  • Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problems, requirements, and proposed solutions.
  • Own the quality, total cost of ownership, maintainability, and security of developed components.
  • Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to documentation and educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
  • Share innovative ideas and solutions across teams to address large and complex problems.
  • Help shape the company culture, engineering practices, and product as an early team member.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and passion for building software.
  • Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Understanding of distributed systems.
  • Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and AWS is helpful but not required.
  • Aspirational, self-driven, and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
