Description

  • Discover user problems and needs by interviewing customers on construction sites and participating in sales and customer success conversations.
  • Narrow solution options with product design and engineering teams.
  • Write user stories and product requirement documents to guide feature development.
  • Lead engineering teams through building and releasing features that meet customer needs.
  • Communicate product value to sales, marketing, customer success, and customers.
  • Drive a customer-first, fast-paced, agile product development process.
  • Conduct ongoing discovery with executives, field teams, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations.
  • Shape, refine, and execute the product roadmap with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Represent the voice of the customer in prioritization and product decisions.
  • Partner with Engineering and QA/QC to prioritize features, address defects, and improve processes.
  • Define success metrics, measure outcomes, and use data to iterate and improve features.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a product manager at an enterprise SaaS company.
  • 3+ years of experience working for a construction company or on construction tech software for the field in the construction industry.
  • Experience working in the field on large, complex construction projects in the U.S. is preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean construction is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of short-interval or pull planning is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to work hard and operate at high speed.
  • History of leading software development projects that drive business results.
  • Experience owning the conception, development, and release of new features from 0 to 1.
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with engineers about tradeoffs.
  • Business-minded approach with attention to root-cause analysis and scalable, maintainable processes.
