Description

  • Review, structure, and approve commercial deals to balance growth, profitability, and risk.
  • Partner with Sales and Legal on pricing, contract terms, non-standard requests, and customer paper.
  • Own contract governance, including template usage, approval routing, and exception handling.
  • Manage internal deal turnaround standards and route requests based on approval and legal complexity.
  • Confirm order data is accurately configured for invoicing, including billing start dates, payment terms, and project start triggers.
  • Coordinate activation events and downstream handoffs that affect billing, provisioning, and revenue recognition.
  • Troubleshoot account setup, PO matching, and system data sync issues with Accounting.
  • Refine and optimize the end-to-end deal process by reducing friction and improving accountability.
  • Build templates, playbooks, dashboards, and guardrails to improve consistency, speed, and financial integrity.
  • Drive automation and data-quality improvements across Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Finance, or Order Management within an enterprise B2B environment.
  • Proven experience supporting complex deal negotiations and advising stakeholders on pricing, terms, and approval tradeoffs.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance commercial urgency against financial and legal risk.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex commercial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Builder mindset with experience designing efficient systems and processes from first principles.
  • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer Success.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, and ERP systems for deal and order workflows.
