Description

Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to fix them.
Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
Work with the existing web and mobile application stack, including ASP.NET Core Web API, AngularJS, Microsoft SQL, and Xamarin.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of relevant development experience in an IT development environment.
Grade 12 with higher grade Mathematics at a minimum of 70%, Umalusi endorsed.
A relevant IT certification from a recognised issuing authority, such as A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MCT, VCP, or VCSP.
Proficiency in C# and familiarity with its ecosystem.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
Ability to write reusable C# libraries.
Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
Familiarity with continuous integration, Microsoft SQL, JSON, Angular, and .NET Framework.
Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.
Experience or exposure to machine learning, image recognition, cloud computing, AI software development, or computer vision technology is advantageous.
