Description

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and develop solutions to fix them.
  • Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
  • Work with the existing web and mobile application stack, including ASP.NET Core Web API, AngularJS, Microsoft SQL, and Xamarin.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant development experience in an IT development environment.
  • Grade 12 with higher grade Mathematics at a minimum of 70%, Umalusi endorsed.
  • A relevant IT certification from a recognised issuing authority, such as A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MCT, VCP, or VCSP.
  • Proficiency in C# and familiarity with its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Ability to write reusable C# libraries.
  • Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, Microsoft SQL, JSON, Angular, and .NET Framework.
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Experience or exposure to machine learning, image recognition, cloud computing, AI software development, or computer vision technology is advantageous.
