Description

  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to resolve them.
  • Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.
  • Contribute to the development of web-based and mobile solutions using the company’s technology stack.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant development experience in an IT development environment.
  • Grade 12 with higher grade Mathematics and a minimum of 70% as per Umalusi-endorsed national senior certificate requirements.
  • A relevant IT certification from a recognised issuing authority, such as A+, N+, MCSE, MCP, MCT, VCP, or VCSP.
  • Proficient in C# with good knowledge of its ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Ability to write reusable C# libraries.
  • Understanding of core design principles behind scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration, Microsoft SQL, JSON, Angular, and .NET Framework/Core.
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
  • Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Exposure to Machine Learning, Image Recognition, Cloud Computing, AI software development, or Computer Vision technology is advantageous.
