Description

  • Serve as Remote Pilot in Command and maintenance repairman to support safe, compliant flight operations.
  • Perform pre- and post-flight inspections, battery management, aircraft preparation, and airworthiness checks.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with aircraft, ground systems, communications links, and support equipment.
  • Provide ground and vehicle support for transportation, staging, setup, recovery, and repositioning of aircraft and systems.
  • Identify, verify, and document delivery zones and operational areas for safe mission execution.
  • Support commercial flight operations in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and manuals.
  • Create and manage maintenance tickets, logs, records, discrepancy reports, corrective actions, and return-to-service documentation.
  • Assist with aircraft logistics between operational sites and maintenance locations when needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document observations, surface risks, and improve operations continuously.
  • Participate in required FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing programs as a safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

  • Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate is required.
  • Drone Repair Certificate is required.
  • Significant commercial flight experience, including experience in complex or mission-critical environments.
  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace, risk management, and operational compliance.
  • Experience performing aircraft servicing, inspections, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience creating tickets, logs, and documentation for traceability, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to create, follow, and apply procedures and contribute to SOPs, manuals, or operational guidance.
  • Willingness to work early mornings, late afternoons, variable hours, and outdoors in changing weather conditions.
  • Must participate in FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing, including pre-employment screening and ongoing testing under applicable requirements, including 14 CFR Part 120.

  • Base salary range of $34.70 to $51.00 per hour in the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
