Description

  • Iterate the sales playbook and product positioning for different merchant segments.
  • Run competitive positioning and build the case for why merchants should choose these products.
  • Sell directly to merchant decision-makers through a consultative sales motion.
  • Design and run the merchant onboarding experience to improve adoption and stickiness.
  • Gather quantitative and qualitative merchant feedback and use it to shape the product roadmap.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Sales to support launches and execution.
  • Build and refine pricing or go-to-market hypotheses and test them in market.
  • Support merchant issue troubleshooting and operational process design across multiple products.
  • Use AI tools and automation to improve workflows, analysis, and day-to-day execution.

Requirements

  • Experience with consultative selling, whether or not it was your formal title.
  • Real product curiosity and the ability to understand how products work, not just how to position them.
  • Ability to build and test pricing or go-to-market hypotheses.
  • Fluency with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar in daily workflow.
  • Ability to write clearly, present persuasively, and hold a room with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfort working across enterprise and SMB segments with different merchant motivations and sales motions.
  • Preferred: experience as a restaurant or food tech operator close to the merchant experience.
  • Preferred: background in SaaS go-to-market roles, especially at early-stage or growth-stage companies.
  • Preferred: startup experience wearing multiple hats and building processes from scratch.
  • Preferred: consulting experience focused on building things, not just advising on them.
