Description

  • Design and build core domain APIs for the unified platform, including User, Startup, and Expert Pool services.
  • Automate end-to-end business workflows such as Application → Diagnosis → KO → Coaching using a workflow engine.
  • Design the unified database schema with audit logging and permission middleware.
  • Architect and execute data migration from legacy databases, CSV files, and SharePoint sources.
  • Enhance and scale the existing authentication system as the platform grows.
  • Lead backend code reviews and help establish architecture and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with a global team to support the evolution of internal core business systems.
  • Own the backend foundation for a platform used by EdTech startups and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Senior backend engineering experience.
  • Strong Python backend development experience.
  • Experience with large-scale database schema design and operations.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and building large-scale service architectures.
  • Experience integrating or scaling authentication and authorization systems.
  • Business-level English fluency for daily collaboration with a global team.
  • Experience with Python 3.11+, FastAPI, and/or Django.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Temporal, and/or n8n preferred.
  • Experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker preferred.
  • Experience with GitHub, Jira or Linear, and Cursor preferred.
