Description

  • Provide project management support across all phases of project execution.
  • Organize internal and external meetings and prepare and distribute meeting materials.
  • Document meeting minutes, decisions, and action items and communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate requirements elicitation, scope tracking, schedule and milestone support, and risk and issue management activities.
  • Support the preparation of project status reports by coordinating input from internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and comply with SharePoint naming conventions and document management protocols.
  • Apply standard project management methodologies, processes, tools, and documentation consistently throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders and support timely follow-up on decisions and action items.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a business analyst or project coordinator, preferably in a public sector or healthcare IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT project management principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and SharePoint for documentation and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP or CAPM, or related certification, preferred.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid or public sector processes and regulations, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in written and verbal English, preferred.
  • Experience with Medicaid systems, health and human services programs, or large government IT modernization initiatives is highly valued.
