Description

  • Provide real-time EHR and billing support to revenue cycle and business teams.
  • Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies, remittance issues, and billing production problems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for EHR billing corrections and support requests.
  • Track EHR changes, maintain accurate ticketing records, and document inquiry outcomes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and EHR team members on system fixes, enhancements, and functionality research.
  • Assist with EHR design, build, implementation, testing, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Participate in validation testing and provide implementation support for new releases.
  • Update support and maintenance documentation with the Training team.
  • Develop and support standardized billing content and testing strategies.
  • Communicate project status and deliverables to management while meeting quality and timing expectations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with myAvatar, Sigmund, AURA, SmartCare, or another EHR system preferred.
  • Knowledge of billing and CMS regulations, including 837i/837p loops and segments.
  • Knowledge of claim remittance, posting, and service codes.
  • Ability to understand and interpret billing concepts and requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with billing staff and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, multitasking, and quality focus.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a changing, high-pressure environment.
  • Self-reliant, proactive, and capable of exercising sound judgment.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management preferred.

  • Starting salary range of $70,000–$80,000.
