Description

  • Lead discovery for pharmacy data modernization initiatives and define the target-state roadmap.
  • Develop the implementation plan for execution of the modernization program.
  • Design end-to-end target-state architectures for core pharmacy systems and integration frameworks.
  • Set architecture standards for processing pharmacy and health data under HIPAA and other healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Work within an existing delivery team and maintain client credibility from day one.
  • Present architecture decisions directly to senior stakeholders, including VP- and CFO-level audiences.

Requirements

  • 15–20 years of experience in pharmacy domain data models.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmacy technology.
  • Prior architect title; not a senior developer with added architecture duties.
  • Strong pharmacy domain background across both provider and payer client environments.
  • Experience leading a pharmacy data modernization transformation from discovery through roadmap and implementation.
  • Experience in a client-facing capacity.
  • Experience across acute care, primary care, PBM, or pharma R&D data ecosystems.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Working knowledge of data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Experience with NCPDP telecom standards, claims adjudication, and formulary/benefit design logic.
  • HL7/FHIR exposure where pharmacy data touches clinical systems.
  • Big Four consulting background preferred.
