Description

  • Work with clients to understand requirements and technical challenges and develop cloud-based solutions.
  • Advise client teams on technology decisions and communicate the value of proposed solutions.
  • Develop estimates for staffing and timelines and turn them into clear proposals or statements of work.
  • Serve as the lead technical member of project teams and provide delivery oversight.
  • Keep technical delivery on track and remove blockers when projects stall.
  • Work hands-on across architecture and execution as needed.
  • Mentor and up-skill engineering teams by teaching within the organization.
  • Act as a technical ambassador for Zencore’s cloud engineering expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience with Google Cloud, ideally in a production setting.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with a major public cloud platform.
  • Comfort with common DevSecOps practices and tooling.
  • Depth in one or more domains such as software architecture, tooling/pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, databases, or networking.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with emerging cloud, DevSecOps, and software development technologies and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and complex engagements.
  • Comfortable being on video in internal and client meetings.
