Description

  • Issue formal, compliant requests for medical records and billing statements to hospitals, physicians, and healthcare facilities across the United States.
  • Manage cases through the full medical records retrieval cycle, including provider outreach, follow-up, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain a structured follow-up plan through phone calls and emails to ensure timely delivery of records and documents.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with medical providers to resolve delays, inconsistencies, or incomplete documentation.
  • Index, review for completeness, and upload medical records and bills into the firm's case management system.
  • Check for missing pages, omitted providers, or incomplete records in assigned cases.
  • Validate final balances, pending liens, and billing accuracy before the demand-drafting stage.
  • Report inconsistencies or missing documentation to case managers or attorneys when needed.

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency is required for handling medical records and billing documentation.
  • Administrative, detail-oriented work experience is expected for managing high-volume case files.
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. medical records and billing processes is required.
  • Ability to work remotely in a full-time role based in Bogotá.
  • Strong persistence, accuracy, and follow-through are needed to manage retrieval and verification tasks.
  • Experience handling phone and email follow-up with external providers is implied by the role.
  • Familiarity with case management systems for indexing and uploading documents is needed.

Benefits

  • Monthly salary of COP $2,500,000 to $2,800,000.
