Description

Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
Work with clients to gather the information needed for annual reporting.
Reconcile 401(k) plans with only rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software.
Use administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting.
Prepare required government filings, including IRS Form 5500, using filing software.
Proactively update clients on reporting progress throughout the plan year.
Make reminder calls and send emails to clients during the reporting process.
Educate clients on 401(k) plan administration and plan documents.
Explain complex concepts simply and share knowledge with clients and teammates.
Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Customer service, organization, and collaboration skills.
Adequate math and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business or finance, or equivalent work experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations preferred.
Ability to work autonomously as a self-directed worker.
Must pass a background check.
Must meet work-from-home requirements, including a designated workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
Must complete continuing education based on current certifications.
