Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client issues through phone, email, and automated alerts.
  • Triage support tickets, assess severity, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Keep clients informed throughout the troubleshooting and resolution process.
  • Configure and deploy workstations, including data and application migrations.
  • Troubleshoot Windows PCs, servers, hardware, and client LAN environments.
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, file and folder security, print servers, and certificates.
  • Assist with endpoint security and email management platforms.
  • Document support activities and solutions in IT Glue.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, preferably with an MSP or multiple-client environment.
  • Native English speaker with strong professional communication skills.
  • Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. US Pacific Time.
  • Experience communicating with customers by phone, email, and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with RMM, PSA/ticketing, and documentation platforms; NinjaOne, Autotask, and IT Glue preferred.
  • Windows experience in Workgroup and Domain environments, including PC setup and data migration.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, Adobe, and common Windows applications.
  • Experience with endpoint security and antivirus tools; BitDefender preferred.
  • Familiarity with OpenText/AppRiver email management platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware at the subassembly level, including hard drives, power supplies, and GPUs.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, file and folder security, certificates, and print servers.
  • Experience with virus removal, spam mitigation, and LAN troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, calmness under pressure, and a dependable work ethic.
