Description

  • Manage the finance ERP (Business Central) as the primary business system and maintain a forward-looking enhancement roadmap.
  • Align ERP development with data engineering and AI initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinate structured release cycles, sprint planning, QA, and change management processes.
  • Prioritize and manage the requirement backlog and lead solution design efforts.
  • Oversee daily system administration: monitor operations, performance, availability, and data integrity.
  • Configure users, permissions, security roles, and system modules; manage upgrades, patches, and regression testing.
  • Manage relationships with Microsoft partners and third-party vendors and oversee ERP integration/enhancement projects to meet timelines and scope.
  • Coordinate QA processes including regression testing, validation, testing documentation, and release management.
  • Serve as the Business Central subject matter expert by training users, developing guides and SOPs, and resolving complex issues.
  • Maintain documentation for configurations and customizations, develop reports/dashboards (Power BI preferred), and conduct system audits and performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-prem or cloud).
  • Deep understanding of financial and operational business processes relevant to ERP.
  • Experience with development lifecycle management, including sprint planning, release management, and change control.
  • Proven ability to manage requirement backlogs and coordinate solution design for ERP enhancements.
  • Experience with system upgrades, regression testing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, SQL queries, and data analysis tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Strong vendor and partner management experience, including working with Microsoft ISVs and third‑party solutions.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams (e.g., data engineering, AI) and leading ERP implementations/upgrades.
  • Understanding of enterprise technology architecture and system integration principles.
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States without restrictions or expirations; experience in B2B or supply chain environments is a plus.
