Description

  • Support managed Veeam backup services across MSP client environments.
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve backup and restore issues.
  • Support restore verification, backup reliability, remediation, and emergency recovery activities.
  • Deliver technical projects covering Microsoft 365, infrastructure, compliance, and client environment improvements.
  • Support Essential Eight uplift initiatives and apply cybersecurity and compliance knowledge.
  • Plan and implement technical changes with consideration of scope, risk, rollback options, and client impact.
  • Troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365, endpoint, infrastructure, backup, and hypervisor issues.
  • Manage complex escalations and day-to-day technical support requirements.
  • Use PowerShell and Bash to automate detection, remediation, reporting, and repeatable processes.
  • Contribute to project planning, implementation documentation, post-project handovers, and client communication.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience within an MSP, IT service provider, backup, infrastructure, or project engineering environment.
  • Strong Veeam experience and ability to discuss backup solutions with technical stakeholders.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience across security, compliance, identity, and client environment uplift.
  • Experience with Essential Eight uplift projects or similar cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of hypervisors, infrastructure, endpoints, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Proven ability to independently own technical work and manage priorities within a small technical team.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a disciplined approach to risk, rollback planning, and client impact.
  • Halo PSA experience preferred.
  • Dropsuite or Microsoft 365 backup platform experience preferred.
  • Exposure to JavaScript or .NET preferred.
  • Experience supporting ISO readiness or compliance documentation preferred.
  • Police clearance or willingness to complete background checks where required.
