Description

  • Lead and mentor engineering and service delivery teams, including L1 support when needed.
  • Define and execute technology strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Handle level 2 and escalated incidents and service requests across desktops, servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot and support Windows Server, Hyper-V, Sophos firewalls, Office 365, Entra ID, Azure, and VOIP systems.
  • Administer LAN/WAN infrastructure and on-premises/client network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Perform system and server upgrades, scheduled maintenance, Windows patching, and routine health checks.
  • Prepare root cause analysis documents and implement corrective resolutions.
  • Implement and maintain enterprise backups for systems, databases, applications, cloud apps, and virtualized infrastructure.
  • Document work, solutions, changes, and network diagrams in ticketing and knowledge management systems.
  • Support infrastructure projects such as upgrades, Office 365 migrations, endpoint deployments, network setups, and new system installations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technology field.
  • 7–8 years of experience in relevant technology or engineering roles.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performance teams.
  • Proven track record in business development and strategic technology leadership.
  • Strong infrastructure engineering background with Microsoft stack experience, especially Office 365, Exchange, SCCM, and Active Directory.
  • Networking knowledge, including firewalls, routers, switches, LAN/WAN, and data center environments.
  • Experience with VMware virtualization.
  • Experience with remote support tools such as VPN, RMM platforms, and RDS.
  • Knowledge of VoIP systems, including SIP protocol and codecs.
  • Cybersecurity, reliability, and data privacy mindset with ability to follow least privilege and approval-based access practices.
  • Preferred certifications include MSEC, Azure/AWS or other cloud certifications, CCNP, VMCA/VMCE, and Sophos Certified Architect.
