Description

  • Develop and improve core platform services, including the API Gateway and Authentication Services.
  • Build and extend Scenario, a no-code, block-based workflow automation product.
  • Expand Scenario to support communication channels such as Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and RCS.
  • Integrate AI-powered tools into Scenario to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Design and implement distributed systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Make architectural decisions and assess their impact on existing backend systems.
  • Improve and maintain the existing codebase.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, and the team lead within the Auxiliary Squad.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience in product-focused companies.
  • 3+ years of extensive Java experience.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.
  • Ability to make architectural decisions and evaluate performance, scalability, and reliability trade-offs.
  • Comfort working with and improving an existing codebase.
  • Strong autonomy, attention to detail, and a business-oriented engineering mindset.
  • Leadership potential and willingness to grow into a lead role.
  • Experience with Spring Boot is preferred.
  • Experience with Kotlin, RabbitMQ, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes is beneficial.
