Description

  • Develop and maintain a live production computer vision system used in drive-thru restaurant environments.
  • Fine-tune and optimize machine learning models to improve real-world system performance.
  • Build and support new features and system enhancements for evolving business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues in a live environment.
  • Collaborate with the team and client stakeholders on requirements, solutions, and delivery.
  • Support testing and validation in a dedicated real-world demo environment.
  • Work on day-to-day engineering tasks that support continuous delivery of the production system.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ML systems using modern tools and workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in computer vision and machine learning in production environments.
  • Strong software engineering background with solid Python skills and experience building production-grade systems.
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch and object detection models such as YOLO.
  • Hands-on experience with OpenCV.
  • Strong understanding of the machine learning lifecycle, including training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Experience fine-tuning models, improving performance, and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership.
  • Proactive, self-organized mindset with strong communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating in distributed teams and working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level, both written and spoken.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to the U.S. occasionally with a valid visa.
  • Experience with TensorFlow is desirable.
  • Understanding of advanced data structures such as trees and graphs is desirable.
  • Experience working with LLMs is desirable.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers is desirable.
  • Experience in restaurant tech or a similar domain is desirable.
