Description

  • Create, execute, and document test cases and scenarios based on requirements.
  • Design and execute test plans across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Drive test automation initiatives to streamline testing processes and improve coverage.
  • Collaborate with engineers, tech leads, and project managers to define success criteria and validate solutions.
  • Identify defects, gaps, and improvement opportunities and raise issues through appropriate channels.
  • Provide QA feedback on design, usability, and user experience.
  • Participate in team meetings and reviews while advocating for QA best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and product quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation with a strong understanding of QA best practices.
  • Experience using JavaScript testing frameworks such as Playwright.
  • Experience with API testing and exploratory testing.
  • Experience with load and performance testing tools such as Apache Bench, wrk, or similar.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Proficiency with Git, including pull request and branching workflows.
  • Experience developing test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting defects, providing feedback, and suggesting improvements.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and containerized environments is desirable.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab, is desirable.
  • Familiarity with databases is desirable.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) is desirable.
  • Experience collaborating in team meetings and technical discussions is desirable.
