Description

  • Collaborate with the product team to document business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Build and maintain scalable ELT pipelines for reliable data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
  • Design, optimize, and manage Snowflake data models for performance, scalability, and clarity.
  • Create and maintain DAGs to define pipeline tasks, dependencies, and schedules for automated workflows.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to configure and manage AWS infrastructure supporting data storage, pipelines, and transformations.
  • Monitor pipelines to resolve failures and improve stability and data quality.
  • Document pipelines, DAGs, and data models to support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Work with developers and QA teams to solve complex data challenges and deliver reliable data systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
  • Expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in dbt for modular data modeling, transformations, testing, and documentation.
  • Experience building scalable ELT pipelines in AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analysis.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications is desirable.
  • Full-stack development experience with TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript, Node.js, or Express.js is desirable.
  • Experience with CMS development or digital signage solutions is desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices is desirable.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers and QA is desirable.
