Description

  • Architect and evolve the data ecosystem to support frontend applications and business growth.
  • Lead and mentor engineers through code reviews, standards setting, and best practices in data modeling.
  • Design and build scalable ELT pipelines and automated DAGs for reliable 24/7 data availability.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain Snowflake datasets, performance, and data models for analytics and customer-facing features.
  • Manage and configure AWS services in partnership with DevOps for data ingestion and transformation.
  • Monitor workflows, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability through testing and operational practices.
  • Collaborate with developers to align Node.js backends and React frontends with the data architecture.
  • Document pipelines, DAGs, and data models to support onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive improvements in data architecture, tooling, scalability, security, and performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Experience designing and operating production-grade data platforms.
  • Proven experience designing scalable ELT pipelines in AWS.
  • Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data modeling.
  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt for modular modeling, transformations, testing, and documentation.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or similar.
  • Advanced SQL skills for data transformation and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide engineers and establish standards.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent certifications (desirable).
  • Full-stack web development experience with TypeScript, React.js, JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js (desirable).
  • Experience with CMS development or digital signage solutions (desirable).
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud security best practices (desirable).
