Description

  • Design and maintain secure network and infrastructure architecture.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and network segmentation.
  • Secure servers, cloud resources, containers, virtual machines, and employee workstations.
  • Monitor endpoints, infrastructure, and security logs for suspicious activity and anomalies.
  • Detect, investigate, respond to, and document security incidents, including root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis, risk assessment, remediation, system hardening, and patch management.
  • Develop and deliver internal security trainings, awareness sessions, phishing simulations, and campaigns.
  • Manage security training platforms, user enrollment, learning content, and training effectiveness tracking.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, Infrastructure, HR, clients, and security stakeholders on security and compliance matters.
  • Complete security questionnaires and assessment forms and participate in client security calls.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of network security, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and proxies.
  • Experience securing on-prem, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust and least-privilege access models.
  • Experience with endpoint security tools such as EDR, antivirus, and disk encryption.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux security.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging systems for endpoints, servers, and network traffic.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and identity and access management (IAM).
  • Experience with security hardening and patch management.
  • Familiarity with security awareness and training platforms.
  • Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP/S.
  • Ability to explain security concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and security-first mindset.
  • Ability to influence user behavior and promote a security culture.
  • Experience with SIEM and SOAR tools is preferred.
  • Experience with MDM solutions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud security across AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.
  • Experience running phishing simulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards is preferred.
  • Security certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are optional.
