Description

  • Design and own the experimentation playbook, including frameworks, tooling, and best practices for faster, cleaner tests.
  • Architect personalization and user journey systems that adapt the product experience to user intent and context.
  • Build data pipelines and instrumentation that provide real-time visibility into growth performance.
  • Own A/B tests end-to-end, from hypothesis development through instrumentation, shipping, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Own activation and onboarding flows that convert new signups into engaged users.
  • Work with Data and Product to define growth metrics and build toward them.
  • Build full-stack features across React frontend, APIs, and backend systems.
  • Partner with Product and Design to define what gets built and shape product direction.
  • Bring systems-level judgment to improve the growth playbook and influence technical decisions.
  • For staff-level scope, help shape technical direction, lead multiple initiatives, and influence architecture and engineering practices across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience for senior level, or 8+ years for staff/lead level.
  • Strong command of TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
  • Deep familiarity with HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and performance optimization.
  • Experience running A/B tests and product experiments.
  • Ability to connect engineering work to business outcomes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to define problems independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with single-page app architecture and performance at scale (preferred).
  • Experience with creative or prosumer tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Hex (preferred).
  • Background in growth, lifecycle, or conversion optimization (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $190,000-$245,000/year for Senior and $240,000-$285,000/year for Staff.
