Description

  • Participate in discovery and requirements sessions to translate business goals into tracking plans.
  • Collaborate with developers and the Analytics Lead to design and document GA4 data layer specifications.
  • Implement, configure, and validate tracking in Google Tag Manager, including tags, triggers, variables, and testing.
  • Configure and maintain Google Analytics 4 properties, including events, parameters, custom dimensions, and conversions.
  • Troubleshoot and validate measurement using debugging tools such as GA4 DebugView and Tag Assistant.
  • Support GA4 data exports and modeling in BigQuery for reporting and analysis.
  • Build reports and dashboards in Looker Studio or similar visualization tools.
  • Perform QA, audits, and ongoing maintenance to ensure accurate and consistent measurement.
  • Collaborate with media, strategy, and development teams to align analytics with business objectives.
  • Maintain documentation, tagging governance, and measurement frameworks.
  • Stay current with analytics best practices, privacy standards, and updates in the Google ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of digital analytics experience, ideally in an agency or multi-client environment.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 setup, configuration, event tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong experience with Google Tag Manager for implementing and validating tracking.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, including understanding of the GA4 export schema.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into measurement requirements and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics, AEP Launch, or other enterprise analytics tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or other cloud data warehouses is preferred.
  • Understanding of Consent Mode v2, privacy regulations, or cookie compliance platforms such as OneTrust or Pandectes is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript or JSON for debugging is preferred.
  • Certifications in GA4, GTM, Google Cloud, or similar technologies are preferred.
  • Experience with server-side tagging or marketing pixel governance is preferred.
  • Must be available for a 4-5 month contract with fluctuating hours between 15-40 per week.
  • Hourly rate can be considered up to $85 depending on experience.
