Description

  • Follow the software development process and best practices to design, build, test, and deliver software and IT solutions.
  • Review feature descriptions and collaborate with Product Manager and Manager to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Break down features into tasks, estimate time, and manage work to meet delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with the team and manager to review designs and take part in design decision-making.
  • Develop features according to the task plan and ensure code quality through local testing and reviews.
  • Write unit tests for new features and support Test-Driven Development practices where applicable.
  • Fix bugs reported by QA and address issues raised by customers and the Production Support team.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide solutions for production incidents.
  • Communicate and collaborate with developers, QAs, and product managers across globally distributed teams using audio/video tools.
  • Evaluate technologies, lead technical evaluations, and make informed recommendations for adoption.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience across the software lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, and building scalable web applications and APIs.
  • Experience with object-oriented design and Microsoft technologies: .NET, .NET Standard, .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Familiarity with Git workflows and pull requests; CI/CD experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, and managing database objects.
  • Well-versed in Agile methodologies (Kanban/Agile) and comfortable working in agile teams.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimizing memory usage in C# and ASP.NET applications.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and other programmatic interfaces.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams and comfortable with remote work and audio/video collaboration.
  • Experience writing technical documentation and presenting to team members, leads, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience or interest in AI-assisted coding/testing, cloud development with Docker and microservices, front-end technologies (React, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS), Feature Function Automation, Test-Driven Development, JIRA and Confluence, and Azure cloud services.
