Description

  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers on technical needs, challenges, and goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers supporting customer engagements.
  • Understand and articulate the technical competency and impact of the engineering team.
  • Support discovery and framing efforts across the industry.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist with demonstrations and product content creation.
  • Manage proof-of-concept work.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Build, deploy, test, and troubleshoot UDS Bundles, Zarf packages, and UDS packages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on brainstorming, research, and growth strategies.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 1+ years in a manager role.
  • 5+ years of experience with defense-based customer-facing interactions and engagements.
  • 4+ years of experience with full-stack development teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of containerization and container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
  • Preferred knowledge of the CNCF ecosystem and tooling.
  • Knowledge of system architecture in both cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Ability to architect solutions based on potential customer requirements and articulate those solutions.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and containers.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, with familiarity in web technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate, persuade, and negotiate.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data for decision-making.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with training and mentoring.
  • Understanding of continuous delivery and agile principles.
  • Experience with full-stack development.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing engineering teams.

  • Base compensation range of $148,750 to $201,250 USD.
