Description

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers building and maintaining UDS-compatible applications.
  • Own team deliverables and ensure timely delivery of scalable, highly available products.
  • Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Delivery teams to prioritize engineering roadmaps.
  • Drive continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and engineering processes.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional and technical development.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and engineers regarding specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Stay current on new trends, developments, and technologies to improve product lines and production efficiency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of industry experience, preferably building, maintaining, and managing platforms and infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including in a remote, distributed environment.
  • Strong technical background in software engineering and architecting scalable solutions.
  • Experience delivering cloud-native software on Kubernetes using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • High technical proficiency and ability to solve complex problems with the team.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize effectively.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or published projects are a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Zarf, and the UDS ecosystem is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of airgapped systems, edge devices, and semi-disconnected software delivery is a differentiator.
  • Experience in mobile development, especially Android, is a plus.
