Description

  • Listen to, understand, and accurately interpret real-time conversations between customers/clients speaking English and French.
  • Ensure interpretations are clear, precise, culturally appropriate, and preserve the intent and tone of the original message.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs), organizational guidelines, and quality standards related to the interpretation process.
  • Meet or exceed established quality, productivity, and compliance goals for the role.
  • Implement client updates, process changes, and policy enhancements as communicated by leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive or private information.
  • Participate in training, coaching, and quality calibration sessions as required to maintain performance and standards.

Requirements

  • High fluency in both English and French (bilingual speaking) with excellent comprehension and understanding.
  • Certification in French Language, French Language Trainer, French Language Associate, or equivalent customer support experience in French (candidates with these credentials given high preference).
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills with the ability to accurately interpret spoken information in real time.
  • Energetic attitude with a positive approach to handling issues and challenges.
  • Willingness to adhere to SOPs, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Willingness and availability to work rotational shifts, including night shifts (5 days per week with 2 days off).
  • Experience in customer support or interpretation work involving French is preferred.
