Description

  • Scope and co-develop production-level data science projects with customers across different industries and use cases.
  • Support users in discovering and mastering the Dataiku platform through training, office hours, and consultative guidance.
  • Provide strategic input to customer and account teams to help drive customer success.
  • Advise customers and internal sales and marketing teams with data science expertise.
  • Lead pre-sales technical scoping and help design compelling project proposals.
  • Identify and raise technical and non-technical account risks, including onboarding issues, performance pitfalls, and timeline slippage.
  • Develop custom Python-based plugins in collaboration with Solutions, R&D, and Product teams.
  • Lead Data Scientist engagements by coordinating agile sprints, prioritizing work, estimating effort, and grooming the backlog.
  • Represent Dataiku at public events by running demo booth and tech talk duties.
  • Lead Junior Data Scientist technical interviews.
  • Contribute two internal or public-facing content assets per year, such as best-practice documents or blog posts.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of experience with Python and SQL.
  • Over 5 years of experience building machine learning models and using ML tools such as scikit-learn.
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs).
  • Experience with data visualization and building web apps using Python frameworks such as Dash or Streamlit.
  • Understanding of underlying data systems, including cloud architectures and SQL.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree focused on Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must be located within the CST, MST, or PST time zones.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn new topics and skills.
  • Empathy and an eagerness to share knowledge with colleagues, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: experience using Dataiku DSS.
  • Preferred: consulting or customer-facing data science experience.
  • Preferred: experience in the Manufacturing and Defense sector.
  • Preferred: experience with data engineering or MLOps.
  • Preferred: experience developing web apps in JavaScript.
  • Preferred: experience building APIs.
  • Preferred: passion for teaching or public speaking.

  • US base pay range of $170,000 to $190,000.
