Description

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models to detect and prevent fraud.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to extract meaningful insights for risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Build predictive models and sophisticated algorithms to strengthen risk management processes.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to improve fraud detection and regulatory compliance.
  • Work with risk analysts, software engineers, and other stakeholders in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Translate data science methods into scalable solutions for a fintech environment.
  • Create charts and dashboards to visualize data and communicate findings.
  • Complete tasks autonomously while collaborating with multiple teams in a fully remote setting.
  • Communicate effectively in English and Portuguese with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency with ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
  • Experience with cloud-based services, especially Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong data visualization skills for creating charts and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A research-oriented, detail-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote and distributed team.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Ability to communicate and debate in both English and Portuguese.
  • Experience in the financial or payments industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and parallel computing is preferred.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and containerization, is preferred.
