Description

  • Qualify deals in collaboration with the Account Executive, Business Development Representative, and sales management.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer business requirements and technical environments.
  • Translate customer needs into usage scenarios that show the business value of the solution.
  • Demonstrate Dataiku to illustrate business value in real-world customer scenarios.
  • Design projects and deliver Dataiku demonstrations that show how data science techniques solve customer problems.
  • Plan and execute proof-of-concepts and evaluations with prospective customers.
  • Coordinate resources and co-develop data science projects during customer evaluations.
  • Lead the joint team through the agreed proof-of-concept approach to validate Dataiku’s value against competitors.
  • Answer technical questions and provide guidance to customer technical teams.
  • Support sales pipeline-building activities, including trade shows, conferences, and campaign execution with marketing and partners.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Milan, Italy.
  • Fluent English is required; fluent or native Spanish and Italian are required.
  • Strong natural and intellectual curiosity about using technology to solve problems.
  • 5+ years of experience with predictive modeling and understanding of relational data structures and SQL.
  • Experience in data science, analytics, or big data markets is preferred.
  • Programming experience in Python or R is a bonus.
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience in analytics/AI or other enterprise software.
  • Experience in technical pre-sales or other client-facing roles such as consulting.
  • Comfortable communicating with stakeholders from individual contributors to C-level executives, with public speaking experience or interest preferred.
