Description

  • Elicit, document, and prioritize business and system requirements with stakeholders across Product, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Create clear documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
  • Translate complex operational needs into technical requirements for the development team and ensure requirement traceability through implementation.
  • Define and document key features and workflows for the medical chart retrieval platform, including provider outreach, patient data collection, data quality validation, and compliance tracking.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between development and operations teams, providing operational context and gathering feasibility and timeline feedback.
  • Support feature delivery and quality by creating UAT test cases, coordinating testing activities, and validating feature performance.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute operational insights to improve platform tools, APIs, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation and proposed solutions comply with healthcare regulations and privacy/security requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in healthcare IT, health plans, or medical records environments.
  • Familiarity with chart retrieval processes, HEDIS reporting, or risk adjustment (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical data workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and data sensitivity requirements (HIPAA, HEDIS) and PHI data flow documentation.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, draw.io, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience creating UAT test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing (preferred).
  • Detail-oriented and analytical with the ability to translate operational requirements into technical specifications.
