Description

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, customer success, and other stakeholders to create customer and partner training content.
  • Turn customer training needs into a scoped course roadmap and clearly defined learning paths.
  • Communicate with customers to understand technical needs and build courses that help them use Datadog products proficiently.
  • Create hands-on labs for both self-paced online learning and instructor-led training.
  • Review demo code and curriculum developed by other team members and coach them to improve technical and instructional quality.
  • Coach internal experts to deliver live workshops at Datadog events.
  • Write application and infrastructure code to improve learning project applications, including content focused on Datadog security features.
  • Create and maintain the technical systems and lab environments used for hands-on training, such as GitHub Actions, disk image build workflows, and installation scripts.
  • Improve existing learning content as Datadog’s product offerings expand.

Requirements

  • Experience in security, software development, DevOps, technical curriculum development, or related work creating educational material for an engineering or developer audience.
  • Hands-on experience or specialist knowledge in cloud infrastructure, full-stack web development, mobile development, and/or microservices.
  • Ability to transform technical topics into engaging and accessible educational materials.
  • Proficiency with AWS or other cloud provider services used with Datadog security products, such as cloud storage, logging, and access management policies.
  • Experience with at least one Infrastructure as Code tool such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar.
  • Comfort working with Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with one or more security standards or certifications such as OWASP, Certified Ethical Hacker, CNCF Security Certification, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, or HashiCorp Vault certification.
  • Passion for technology and willingness to grow skills, even if not meeting every qualification on day one.
