Description

  • Partner with cloud engineering and product teams to produce high-quality training courses and curriculum content for customers and partners.
  • Evaluate customer training needs and translate them into a course roadmap and clearly defined learning paths.
  • Create courses that can be delivered as self-paced online programs or instructor-led training.
  • Develop supporting course materials and documentation, including workshops, hands-on labs, and webinars.
  • Create, maintain, and improve the technical systems and environments used for hands-on labs in the Instruqt platform.
  • Mentor team members in cloud engineering best practices, instructional design, and technical collaboration.
  • Improve training operations, including the design, efficiency, and functionality of the Learning Center and internal tooling.
  • Build new labs and enhance existing learning content for Datadog’s expanding solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building online learning curriculum, hands-on labs, and instructor-led training for cloud engineering or software developer audiences.
  • Experience as a technical curriculum developer, software developer, or DevOps professional.
  • Hands-on experience or specialized knowledge in cloud/devops technologies such as Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, or service mesh.
  • Comfort with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, any .NET language, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Experience and interest in improving training operations, including learning platform design, efficiency, and internal tooling.
  • Ability to work closely with engineering and product teams on technical learning content.
  • Experience creating engaging educational materials from complex technical topics.
  • Not all listed cloud platforms or technologies are required, but exposure to one or more is expected.
  • Passion for technology and a willingness to grow skills are encouraged.
